JOHN DEERE ANNOUNCES NEW MD FOR SALES AND MARKETING
John Deere Africa Middle East (AME) recently announced the appointment of Jaco Beyers as MD for its marketing and sales head office in South Africa. Together with the Middle East team, he will support dealers in growing customer productivity and profitability by leveraging the John Deere Smart Industrial strategy. This focusses on technology and equipment to help customers unlock profit at all levels of mechanisation.
Beyers joined the company in 2004 as a trainee territory manager in South Africa, and later held the position of divisional sales manager in Central Africa where he began developing new business models. His extensive experience in global markets and his commitment to customers, dealers and staff have prepared him for his new role.
He says he is “all about promoting a healthy working environment together with a productive culture and a can-do attitude.”
Beyers will lead the company forward in implementing and expanding the agricultural, construction and forestry division into the Ag and Turf channel for Africa. He will also drive the company’s efforts to build a strong dealership network for agricultural and turf equipment into North Africa and the Middle East.
