The newly appointed managing director of KSB Pumps and Valves, Namibia, De Wet van Wyk, will head up the recently established branch of the company. This comes at a time when soaring demand for pumps and services necessitates a move to bigger premises with a fully stocked distribution warehouse, service and repair facilities in order to meet future growth requirements.

Van Wyk is a veteran of the Namibian pumping industry and has been involved in many projects around the country, including procurement and installation of pumps and valves at major water utilities, large-scale mining and agricultural projects, and many smaller ones.

Situated in the northern industrial area of Windhoek, the company’s new premises consist of nine offices, two boardrooms, reception and a fully equipped workshop area. The workshop has two large roller doors for deliveries and collections, making access in and out easy. There will also be a workshop and field service team to provide maintenance, services, repairs and enough spares to cater for the footprint in Namibia.

The new business premises, opened in January 2021, marks a new milestone for KSB Pumps and Valves Namibia to grow and expand into all corners of the country.
