SAB BEYOND AWARDS
In celebration of a commitment to sustainability, South African Breweries (SAB), in partnership with ESG Africa Events, hosted the Beyond Awards in Johannesburg. This platform focuses on African organisations and individuals who have made an impact through their sustainability initiatives.
The awards comprised four categories, namely Sustainable Development Goals Champion, Sustainability Report of the Year, Sustainability Project of the Year, and African Trailblazer. They shed light on sustainability initiatives taking place in Africa, highlighting the dedication of organisations and individuals to address critical issues. In addition, they position sustainability at the forefront of Africa’s corporate landscape, sharing global best practices in areas such as returnable packaging, entrepreneurship, water stewardship and sustainability for economic growth.
The award winners were:
Woolworths Holdings Ltd – Sustainable Development Goals Champion;
Sun International – Sustainability Report of the Year;
Tweak Carbon – Sustainability Project of the Year;
Dr. Jaisheila Rajput – African Trailblazer.
