SOUTH AFRICAN OLIVE OILS SHINE ON GLOBAL STAGE

The South African Olive Industry Association (SA Olive) has congratulated De Rustica Estate for achieving the Absolute Best award at the International Quality Awards for Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) – the Evooleum Awards. The gala event took place in Madrid, Spain, and is recognised as the ultimate international celebration of EVOO, attracting producers from around the world.

Spain’s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, personally congratulated De Rustica Estate as the top producer of EVOO in the world. This acknowledgement is a testament to the exceptional quality of South African EVOOs and their ability to stand out on the global stage. In a chart featuring 61 Spanish EVOOs in the top 100, De Rustica Estate’s Collection Coratina emerged as the winner, proving once again that South African EVOO quality is amongst the best globally.

This achievement not only exemplifies the dedication, craftsmanship and expertise of De Rustica Estate, but also underscores the continued promotion of EVOO excellence by SA Olive in the industry.
