SPEAR INITIATES INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

Spear Reit Limited has announced the launch of a new industrial development in George, adjacent to the George Airport. It will be known as GTX Park and will be situated within the Airport Business Park precinct, split across nine sites.

Spear’s investment in this prime location further strengthens its focus on expanding its Western Cape property portfolio, aligning with their commitment to creating innovative and sustainable spaces. The development will provide contemporary light industrial spaces tailored for warehousing, cold storage, distribution and other industrial activities.

PV solar infrastructure and water augmentation solutions will also be included in the development framework.

The Eden District, where George is located, has become an increasingly appealing place to live and work, and has witnessed a surge in interest from various industries. A new medical facility by Mediclinic is expected to be completed within two years, further illustrating local government’s commitment to investing in the overall development of the region.
