SAB’S BEYOND AWARDS

South African Breweries (SAB) will host its first Beyond Awards, a sustainability recognition platform, in partnership with ESG Africa. This will take place in October 2023 at the Sandton Convention Centre, with the aim of bringing business leaders together to find solutions to pressing issues facing the adoption of sustainable practices. The objective of the awards is to recognise those who put sustainability front and centre of everything.
SAB urges all organisations to respond to the increasing need for ethical and environmentally conscious operations, an approach for creating a more sustainable business ecosystem. Through this platform, organisations will have the opportunity to showcase their environmental advocacy programmes. The goal is to get buy-in across the private and public sectors to drive sustainability.
The Beyond Awards fall under SAB’s sustainability framework, SAB Beyond, which prioritises entrepreneurship, circular packaging, sustainable agriculture, climate, water stewardship and diversity. There are four categories, namely:
*Sustainable Development Goals Champion Awards;
*Best Sustainability Project Award;
*Best Sustainability Report Award;
*African Trailblazer Award.
