GARDEN TOWN STELLENBOSCH

Garden Town Stellenbosch takes place from 27 October to 5 November 2023. It is an annual lifestyle event celebrating the beauty of gardening, and through a range of activities, promotes sustainability and supports local businesses. There will be botanical displays, workshops, talks and garden tours, and the highlight of the programme is a visit to Babylonstoren, led by Ernst van Jaarsveld.
This year’s theme is “Common Ground”, and the Stellenbosch Town Hall will host Inner Eden, a botanical-inspired art exhibition. The PJ Olivier Art Centre will showcase an exhibition of learners’ artwork themed ‘Bursting into Flower’, and the Western Cape Association of Flower Arrangers will present the Viva Magenta Floral Art Show.
As part of the event, there will be opportunities to explore private home gardens, including expansive farm landscapes and green spaces within compact housing projects.
